Sunday 3 December - 12pm to 4pm We are delighted to bring back our Art Shop this Christmas. All artists involved in this art shop are Jelly workshop leaders or members of our Associate Artists.

Aileen Creegan

Aileen Creegan is an artist-teacher. There are two main strands to her current practice: seeking out and breaking through the boundaries constructed within video games, and examining the development and testing of nuclear weapons. Digital prints, screenprints, and paintings provide fractured glimpses into colourful virtual worlds and troves of formerly secret government documents.

Elaine Northcote

Elaine Northcote is an emerging artist in the fine arts scene with a background in performing arts, and has been involved with projects in independent film and music. Elaine has a BA hons in Art History and a Masters in Cinema and popular culture. After taking up painting just over a year ago Elaine is developing a deep understanding of artistic expression. Working primarily with oil on canvas adding multiple layers of paint creating work that is expressionistic realism with rich vibrant colours, she also enjoys working with charcoal and graphite. There will be a selection of small works and prints available for sale.

Gab Gibek

Gab Gibek is a Photographer and multidisciplinary creative. Working predominantly on film, they use photography as their medium of choice in capturing the world at its most bewildering and beautiful. Their prints present some of their most intimate and intrinsic memories and moments.

Helen Westhrop

Helen Westhrop is a stop motion animator, filmmaker, storyteller, illustrator, and printmaker. For the Christmas fair she hopes produce a snapshot of her year’s work, items that may have been overlooked in the flurry of life.

Julie Calce Bunker

Julie Calce Bunker is a visual artist who works with mixed media such as paper, fabric, wood, and papier-mâché. She js predominately a 3D artist, drawn to creating figurative and illustrated pieces. Julie has most recently been working on using a sewing machine as a means to draw and create collages. Using the sewing machine to draw is a tactile and meditative way for her to create.

Katy Pike

Katy Pike’s menagerie of ceramics, collage, animals, paintings and ornaments explore absurdity in small moments of joyful objects.

Linda Newcombe

Linda Newcombe is an artist who works across drawing, printmaking and stopmotion animation. She makes delicate works which evoke ideas of folk art and tales, childhood memories, storytelling and whimsy, albeit from an adult's perspective. She will be bringing to the market a jumble of small sculptures, drawings, rubbings and prints that evoke the world of her stopmotion animation.

Robert Fitzmaurice

Robert Fitzmaurice makes paintings, prints and ceramics that are inspired by the art of the past, especially Romanesque and Asian art. By contrasting flatness with three-dimensionality, and surface with illusion, irregular grids of contrasting colours emerge to conjure a presence.

Helen Lunn

Helen Lunn is predominantly an abstract artist and loves to follow an exciting mark, layering her materials as the work develops. Since moving into Jelly in April last year, she has experimented with rust, inks and manipulating the surface of the paper. Helen will be showing some original fancy bird illustrations, cards, paintings and drawings in her studio pod at The Christmas Artists Shop.

Katie is an artist who loves to explore everyday magic in her art works.

She studied at Wimbledon College of Arts UAL for her MA in Drawing and is also a qualified Early Years Teacher.
