Third Thursday does not end at 8pm; you can continue on with opportunities to take part in two music based events. It’s an open event – part introduction to the beatroots style of samba drumming, part workshop, part gig, part party! This workshop is suitable for complete beginners, rusty drummers and those that just want a new challenge. The workshop part will act as a complete introduction to playing in a samba ‘bateria’ and act as induction to the band. Full details and costs are available here
If playing in a band is your dream, you could always join the Weekend Warriors Launch night from 7pm @ Plugnplay studios, Full details can be found here
