Meet your Maker 2016 – Nomad Bakery and friends

This year we are so pleased to welcome some talented makers of treats that are edible to makeRDG. Roll up, roll up for bread and cake and fudge and jam and vegan treats and pancakes! Gifts for friends, gifts for teachers, gifts for yourself. But the burning question on everyone’s lips is Christmas cake or Christmas pudding?

Food Market Traders

BreadNomad Bakery – Laura – Having never tasted either, I’d have to say Panettone, that’s our traditional cake in my family.

JamThe Jam Lady – Sarah – At a push, Christmas Cake as long as it’s been long steeped in brandy! But I’d definitely prefer a homemade Chocolate Yule Log for my Christmas afternoon treat.

VeganWhite Rabbit Bakery – Lou – I’m not too fond of the traditional offerings preferring a vegan mince pie or slice of spiced pumpkin cake for pud.

FudgeHartland Fudge – Marcus – Neither Christmas cake or pudding for me, I always go for a chocolate sponge pud with lashings of custard for afters on Christmas day. But I do enjoy a warm mince pie straight from the oven at a push.
