We have plenty of classes for all ages and events in the next few weeks, so come along and join us in learning and developing your skills.
Saturday 5 September
First thing in the morning, 10am, is the return of “Off the Grid” and this special event is a textile plate weaving workshop. In this family workshop children will use recycled fabrics and yarns to create woven flowers. All ages welcome, this is a special price for this day only of £3 per child (adults are free).
Then from 11am, jelly artist Mark Webber will be in the jelly space at The Oracle (next to Game) using big spoons to print his Paris Map Linocut. He needs help from people that want to see what its like to print with a spoon, to come and join in to create a print. This is how his bigger Berlin map was created and this will give insight into how bigger works can be produced, and also for those that have not seen prints being made, a good chance to see it in action and even take part. This event is free
