Heritage Open Days, Craft Workshops

We just had the most fantastic four days as part of the national Heritage Open Days in a programme coordinated by Reading UK CIC here in Reading. We were very lucky to be asked to deliver a programme of four days of workshops which included Fairisle Knitting (at John Lewis), Freeform Graffiti Crochet (at Jacksons), Pop-up Books (at Waterstones) and lastly Patchwork (at Cath Kidston).

All the workshops were led by jelly artists who have all been passed on through their families the skills so it was very much as our families taught us.

Here's a few pictures that tell our stories.

If you want to see one participants viewpoint, read this lovely blogpost here.

Thank you Reading UK CIC for supporting us and all the businesses that offered us space to deliver these workshops. We loved it! If you want to know more about workshops, events or to have a one-to-one craft session with one of us, just leave a message in the comments and we will get back to you.
