Seasons greetings and warm wishes.
As Christmas and festivities are fast approaching, we would like to invite you to an informal gathering of artists and art friends for the last Third Thursday of this year, Thursday 15th December from 4pm.
A number of artists and arts organisations will be at jelly at 29-31 Market Place (formerly known as The Coopers Arms) for an art speakeasy. A speakeasy traditionally is an illegal drinking establishment, however ours will be a little different as the jelly is now in a drinking establishment but without a drinks licence so you are welcome to BYO or we will serve you tea, whilst you are invited to freely comment, discuss and evaluate Nuit Blanche, projects throughout the year or just generally talk art things. We hope you can make it.
For our first Third Thursday of 2012 we would love to welcome you back to the Progress Theatre on Thursday 19th January for their production of Neverwhere by acclaimed British writer, Neil Gaiman.
We will meet at the Progress (The Mount, Reading) at 6pm for complimentary pre-show drinks, viewing of the Foyer Art Exhibition by Glen Mills and a talk about bringing this work to the stage, before seeing the piece itself.
This exclusive event is strictly limited in numbers so please RSVP as soon as possible if you would like to reserve a ticket at a special price of £10 per person or you can buy your tickets here
.
Finally we would like to say thank you for all your support throughout this year, jelly celebrates it's 18th birthday on 16th December and we wouldn't have got this far without you all helping us in Making Space for Art
